La Vita DiBella: Welcome to Our Humble Home: Home Tour

I've been promising a tour of our home.

It's by no means finished.

This is our first apartment. Previously, we were living in my grandparents' house taking care of it as my family had it on the market.

As soon as it was sold in October, Frank and I frantically searched for a new home and found this cozy apartment in a beautiful and friendly neighborhood south of Trenton.

We moved into our 1 bedroom apartment 1 week after Hurricane Sandy destroyed much of the New Jersey shore and we somehow managed to pack up our things during a 2-week long loss of electricity and heat.

That makes it just slightly over 6 months that we have lived here and although it still looks pretty empty to me, we have made some progress.

So, welcome! Come on in and look around!

This is where we spend most of our time. It's our dining room, living room, and our office in one.

This is our drop station.

We keep our mail in the basket and the small dresser holds all of my scrap booking and crafting supplies.

This server was my grandmother's. It holds our fancier serving dishes, nice linens, and candles.

This is the table set we found on Craig's list and scored for a total of $100 for the table and all four chairs.

The chairs need a new paint job, but they're sturdy and classic.

Our Bedroom

We very recently painted our bedroom and we love it! The paint looks a bit purple in some of the pictures, but it's a taupe-ish gray. The paint color is: Bell Tower Stone from Lowe's Valspar
